Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE) (Children 3 to 5 years of age)
Westchester Therapy Solutions is an approved NYS provider for CPSE services. We provide Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Speech & Language Therapy through CPSE. This is a county and state funded program for children from 3 to 5 years old to receive intervention at no cost to the family. Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Speech & Language Therapy are only 3 of the services offered. An evaluation is performed by your local school district to identify what type of intervention your child qualifies for. A parent can either call our office or the CPSE program at their local school district directly. This service is managed by the Committee on Preschool Special Education in each child’s local school district.
The Early Intervention Program (EIP) is a public program for infants and toddlers with special needs. Children with diagnosed conditions that lead to developmental delays (i.e. Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Down Syndrome) are eligible for the EIP. Children with no diagnosis but have delays in development may be eligible for the EIP if their delays are significant.
